The Language Environment home page is a very important one for you because of the importance of LE today. (See our write-up about LE in Cheryl's List #15.) The links from the LE home page provide a wealth of information to help you plan, install, and tune LE. There's a very comprehensive list of documents and sites for every aspect of LE migration, and over 70 links mentioned in the handy Site Map. You can find support, manuals, articles on migration (e.g. "Six Steps for Migrating to LE"), and APARs. You can also find pointers to several migration tools (in the Assistance Center) and presentations on LE that the developers have made at user conferences (see Conferences). There's also a pointer to the TalkLink LEFORUM. I mentioned TalkLink in an earlier Link of the Week and find the LEFORUM to be one of the most beneficial. Rounding out the offering is an FAQ file, a catalog of LE support (there is both free and fee-based support available for LE migrations), additional links, and a pointer to all the LE publications (see LIBRARY).

This is an example of the wealth of information that IBM makes available on the Web. It's an excellent resource, and I highly recommend that you spend the time to check out all of the pointers and articles.
