One useful piece is a history of WLM releases showing which features were included in each release. More articles have been added to their Documents section to provide valuable insight into how WLM works (such as the new Resource Affinity Scheduling and WLM Managed Initiators). I’m quite excited by a new Presentations section, and while it only has one entry now, future presentations from WLM speakers will appear here. They’re always full of good information.
The site also has an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) that’s starting small, but is expected to grow as people post their WLM questions via the Feedback section. The Library and Assistance Center icons simply take you to the standard IBM library and support Web pages. The Conferences section shows you upcoming presentations by members of the WLM team. The Links section provides pointers to other IBM sites and more WLM sites. You can even see the WLM team’s photo in their Behind the Scenes page.
All in all, this is a wonderful improvement over the old home page and I’m very excited about the potential of this site. It’s certainly one that I’ll be checking frequently. I hope you will too!
